"I usually do not do reviews but I would like to share my good experience with IPL treatment for my extremely dry eyes at New River Vision Care in Oak Hill, WV. On my first visit, pictures show that I had about 25% eye gland function. After 4 treatments and my recent maintenance treatment, pictures show that I had improved by approx. 50%. For me that was equal to 100% because I was so miserable. It did however take 4 treatments for me to notice significant improvement. I would recommend this treatment for people suffering as I did. All of the staff at New River Vison Care were so kind and compassionate and were as excited about this as I was as a patient. Dr. Ortiz was very good to explain everything as we went through the process."

"I had been having trouble for years with itchy dry eyes. I had recently had surgery to correct an eye prosthesis issue. This surgery caused more dry eye issues and crusty eyelids. Dr. Ortiz recommended the IPL treatments. I was ready to try anything. The treatments consisted of four sessions approximately 15 minutes each in duration. I noticed some slight improvement after my first treatment and continued improvement through the next three. My eyes now stay moist and no eye drops are needed."​​​​​​​

"I had been experiencing issues with moderate dry eyes and blurred vision which required me to use extra over the counter eye drops especially in the evening. Dr. Ortiz recommended I try the IPL treatments. I am always fearful of new treatments; however, she and her staff explained the process before and while they were performing the treatment. The four sessions took approximately 15 minutes each from their prep to finish and were painless. I did not notice any change after the first session; however, after the second session, my vision improved somewhat. My vision continued to improve through the other sessions.
